DOD

DOD Electronics was founded in 1973 by David Oreste DiFrancesco and John Johnson. The company became well-known for its robust and musician-friendly effects pedals, such as the DOD 250 Overdrive Preamp and the DOD 201 Phasor, which were widely used by prominent guitarists. DOD’s reputation for quality earned it the nickname “America’s Pedals,” and it was considered a pioneer in the boutique pedal market before the term became popular​.

DOD is named after founder David Oreste DiFrancesco and is a sister brand to DigiTech.
