Bass Effects Database  (Version 2.5.3)

Version 2.5.3 – Changelog

This update provides minor improvements to the Bass Effects Database.

  • Added a table column for “User Manuals” in preparation for sharing user manuals for the effects pedals
  • Added a filter to the hide columns of the table so that they are hidden until toggled open by the user
  • Removed the sidebar from the Bass Effects Database page to make the table full width
  • Changed default number of rows shown from 25 rows to 100 rows to decrease the amount of clicks required to browse the table entries

Version 2.5.2 – Changelog

The next update to the Bass Effects Database will bump the version to 2.5.3 with only minor improvements planned.

  • Changed EQ column header to Features & EQ to better describe the information provided in this section
  • Added a Features column to the table to capture information that is relevant but does not fit into other columns
  • Added Input/Output impedance information to the Inputs & Outputs section
  • Added Current Draw to the Power Supply section
  • Updated layout format for the following sections in order to provide a more standardized appearance:
    • Dimensions & Weight
    • Power Supply

Version 2.5.1 – Changelog

The next update to the Bass Effects Database will bump the version to 2.5.2 with only minor improvements planned.

  • Added Founded date to Builders database table
  • Added Related Brands to Builder database table
  • Added Status to Builder database table
  • Added Brand logos to Builder database table
  • Added Dimensions and Weight to Effects database table
  • Added Power specifications to Effects database table

Version 2.5.0

The next update to the Bass Effects Database will bump the version to 2.5.1 with only minor improvements planned.

  • Add links to Latest Effects, Recently Modified sidebar – Postponed to version 3.0.0
  • Add relationships between Bass Effects table and Bass Builders table – Postponed to version 3.0.0
  • Improve loading speed and efficiency – Postponed to version 3.0.0
  • Add tables for Bass Amps, Bass Cabs and Bass Strings – Postponed to version 3.0.0
  • Add a rating system for bass gear products – Postponed to version 3.0.0

Bass Effects Database  (Version 3.0.0)

Version 3.0.0 of the Bass Effects Database will be a major release update which will add more features and functionality. The database will continue to use TablePress as its foundation but will feature improved layout for rendering product information and improved page delivery.

  • Integrate pedal and brand request forms into Bass Effects Database
  • Add image gallery to Effects Pedal pages
  • Add a user 5-star rating system to the frontend
  • Add a product comparison feature to easily compare two or more effects pedals 
  • Fix image loading on product pages – Completed
  • Improve page loading times
  • Implement Git repository for versioning control and issue reporting
